Around the apartment

I've been trying to put things up on the bare off-white walls in my apartment to make them more aesthetically pleasing. Here are some of my recent improvements. My bedroom and the kitchen seem to be the preferred spaces as they, once again, received the most attention.

I came across these pictures while I was browsing Walmart one day. They are nice to look at when I am doing my dishes.


These "cherry blossom" pictures and curtains were financed by a visa gift card that I received for finding my apartment on rent.com. I put the curtain rod up all by myself ~ after much deliberation and consultation with the mounting experts in our family. Thanks for all your tips! I followed the ones that were the easiest and would take the least time. =) I basically just eye-balled everything and surprised even myself with the outcome!
